For scuba diving tours:

Please arrive at the Hanging Rock Boat Ramp, Batemans Bay 45mins prior to boat departure (generally departs at 7.30am unless otherwise communicated).

  • The morning Double Dive will take approximately 4-5 hours

For our Snorkelling Experience:

  • Swimmers
  • Hat/Sunscreen – we recommend using a “reef safe” sunscreen
  • Jacket
  • Sea sickness tablets (if required)
  • Camera/Go Pro

  • Stunning coral reefs
  • Marine Life; an array of Fish, Sharks

Yes, we have all dive equipment necessary to ensure you enjoy your diving experience! Refer to Gear & Tank Hire/Refills. You will be able to select equipment when using our booking form.

No, there are restrooms, showers and changerooms facilities available at the Marine Rescue NSW building at Hanging Rock.

Our Double Dive is specifically for certified divers, due to the depth and site conditions. If you’d like to snorkel, please book our Snorkelling Experience instead.

A PADI qualified Divemaster from the Beneath the Bay team will lead our Double Dive experiences.

Some guests do experience motion sickness, especially if the sea is a little choppy. We recommend taking seasickness medication before departure if you’re prone to it — it’s much easier to prevent than to fix once you’re on the water! Even experienced divers take precautions, so don’t hesitate to come prepared and enjoy a smooth, comfortable day of diving.

Unfortunately, Beneath the Bay cannot dispense seasickness medication so please purchase it in advance.

A PADI Open Water or equivalent certification is required to join our Double Dive, please enter these details when booking online.

A dive brief will be provided at each dive site, if the dives are expected to exceed your maxiumum allowable depth, you will be required to adhere to your depth limits.
