PADI Open Water Diver course – $750
PADI Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.
Earning your scuba diving certification
Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology (online), then learn basic scuba skills in a pool with a highly trained PADI Instructor. When you’re ready, make four dives in the ocean with your PADI instructor supporting you every step of the way.

Schedule
Prior to diving
Complete your PADI eLearning theory. You are required to complete your theory prior to joining us which will take roughly 4-6 hours.
Day 1 (Saturday)
7.00am – meet at Bay Pavilions, Batemans Bay for your pool session. After breaking for lunch (not provided) we will meet to complete Open Water dives – location TBA.
Day 2 (Sunday)
7:30am – meet to complete Open Water dives – location TBA.

Certification prerequisites
- 10 years or older
- Able to swim
- You must be able to complete a 200 meter swim and be able to tread water for 10 minutes
- Medically fit for diving
- Good physical health
Additional certification
Add the PADI Enriched Air Diver course to your PADI Open Water Diver course to gain your first PADI specialty (additional fees apply).
